Meet Merseyside Community Training
KOAP are pleased to announce their partnership with Merseyside Community Training, a not-for-profit organisation that helps the most disadvantaged out-of-work young people in Liverpool onto the road to employment by offering them work experience placements with local organisations.
At its Young Entrepreneurs Academy, young people are nurtured and given vital professional advice to turn their original business ideas into a reality, helping them to become their own boss, creating their own financial independence and their own workforce.
Over the next three years, KOAP will be working exclusively with young entrepreneurs and members of the Youth Employment Hub, expanding their knowledge and skills on a programme based on their own personal experiences during a 30-year career in leadership and management.
Our role will be focused on growing the entrepreneurial ideas of MCT’s young talent, raising awareness of key routes to furthering their business ideas, and acting as mentors to young people on the organisation’s training and development programmes, supporting and guiding them as they prepare for further education and employment.

How can we help?
Our methodology of challenging individuals to think for themselves so they can develop business solutions will fit perfectly with the MCT ethos whereby individuals are encouraged to make their own decisions yet have doors opened to them to experiment with new ideas and seek out new opportunities for employment. Supported by our inroads into leadership, training, and development and, for the young entrepreneurs, advice on sales, sales negotiation, marketing and customer service, the plan is to find the best practical solutions to achieve excellent results for this group of vulnerable yet extremely ambitious young people.
